Artist Statement Submitted 2014
Oils provide flexibility in color, light & shadows. My work invites the viewer to "step inside". Persuades the senses to come alive with each scene I portray. My subject is the natural beauty of the low country. Birds, marsh scenes, beaches, sunsets, quiet corners on river banks or late afternoon shore breaks before a storm.
