Artist Statement Submitted 2019

I like to think that I have found a path to convey the absolute disparity between form and formlessness through purely digital means.

The objects I create are agglomerations of points born of simple mathematical relationships rendered onto a digital matrix through the processing of equations expressed as computer code.

They are abstract yet bear the appearance of being real. They have form and dimensionality. Their ability to appear to reflect light is the essence of their elegance and beauty.

I have situated them floating in the seeming black formlessness of space thereby posing the unanswerable question – what links the one to the other?
