Artist Statement Submitted 2017
Through my art I would like to reveal the beauty of the world, and how my surroundings inspire me through its culture, art, music, and languages. My aesthetic is highly influenced by Asian art and culture, especially Indonesia. My works are usually very colorful and ornate inspired by various Indonesian intricate wood carvings and textiles.I hope to infuse the traditional element of Asian and Indonesian art with a current and modern twist through my works.
