The paintings in my recent body of work explore the relationship between people and nature. In our planet's current state of distress it is critical to reconnect with our surroundings.

My paintings start as a mental image that I build on over time. I use oil paint to achieve my desired result because of how it can be manipulated and the rich luster it possesses.

The human figure is one of my primary sources of inspiration. Every individual old and young has a unique beauty to be explored. Combining individuality's with powerful landscapes achieves an emotional bond between the art viewer and the earth.
