Artist Statement -- Daydreams SeriesThis new series of images are fantasy based creations. They are expressive, subtle, selective, and personal. They are partial interpretations of what I see. They are my Daydreams Series. Some are fabricated from fragments observed and moments glimpsed and through montage assembly they become narratives. Others, through muted focus and defined and contained edging express an imagined and illusory experience. I create these arrangements to reveal an elusive reality. I would like my viewer to retreat into these self-styled realities and imagine possibilities.
