Artist Statement Submitted 2018
I combine my interests of Americana art and literature with brutalist architecture and modern furniture to create immersive installations. I primarily use concrete and hardwood to materially bridge the unnatural with the natural. I use landscapes as platforms for self-reflection and personal narrative.
