Artist Statement Submitted 2015
I am interested in the overlap between portraits of other people, and autobiographic imagery. I often use mirrors and references that lead outside of the painted image to incorporate the viewer as the subject of my work. I often use windows as a way to retell the same story in a different way or to refer to the possibility of multiple identities.
