Artist Statement Submitted 2019
I am a guitar player intrigued by carpentry and fascinated by objects. Continuously trying to combine all three and create environments for participants to literally enter and exit. I am old enough to remember a world before the internet. In the last few years I have been making work that needs to be experienced and sounds better with friends. These pieces provide a framework for programming. My interest is in what is possible with the pieces after they are installed. I am fascinated by time and my desire to slow it down. I like things that glow, float and drone.
